operation: wbgh

I'm back! Its been a while since I posted on here I know. Well let me check in! Yesterday I weighed in and I have lost 2 lbs. Thats right! My new magic number is 165. I would like to get down to maybe 155. Fingers crossed.

I also left sparkpeople behind and started using MyFitnessPal. Why? Because Kobe, my stupid Window based phone, finally has an app that I like that I can use on it. So now, I am on there tracking my food, exercise, vitamins, and water. So far so good! But to be honest, its only been 2 days. I was highly motivated by my bestie who lost 5 lbs in 3 weeks. Say what! So the other half of my dynamic duo has motivated me and I am ready!

I have deemed my goal, Operation WBGH! What does that stand for? Wedding, baby, and good health!

I don't want to get too small though. I was looking back at some of my pictures and prefer some meat on me.

my body thanks trina and jay

Soooooooooooooooooo.........yesterday I worked out with Trina and my sister. Going in, I was definitely intimidated by the dedication and focus that these two ladies have toward working out. I have never in my life enjoyed working out or a good sweat. 

Our workout for the night consisted of  Insanity Disc 1 (30 minutes because I'm not there yet and couldn't do the entire 45 minutes), arm work, and 3 section of Sexy Abs.Those planks were so hard!  You see the picture below. Its really hard, and that damn Kelly Rowland was so chipper the entire time. Arrgh!!!!!! That insanity guy is insane. I couldn't keep up. I was the weakest link.  The least hardest portion of the workout was the arm exercises with my light weights. They were tolerable not enjoyable though.  



Overall, I must admit that Trina and my sister are great people to work out with. They are understanding and great motivators. They encourage you and help you. Plus, they put up with me. I complained. They motivated. I complained. They congratulated me for hard work. I complained. They said think about you in McKenzie (wedding dress). I complained. They said think about pictures. I complained. They said we're almost done. And then we were. I was awarded with a good job compliment and high fives. I ached but pushed through. Now today, I am a little sore but it was worth it. I might (just might) join them again. 

my vision board: 1st quarter recap

So at the beginning of the year, I called my bookworms over, and we sat down to do our vision boards. We worked really hard on them and put a lot of thought into them. But that was in January and this is April! My question to myself is where am I now? Have I even started on some of my goals or are they just thoughts on a board with no activity?

Looking closely at the board, I can say I have given some life (not much) to my goals for the year.

Here's my breakdown:





Pearls and Peacocks: I finally got her a logo. I am super duper excited. I had a logo competition with  99designs and selected the winning design with the help of B, my sis, and my doll Trina. I love it. Next up, I want to work on more outfit posts, more post on style solutions, and maybe more informative posts. I have a wordpress and issu account. I am not sure how I will use either to further develop P&P, but they are there.

wish me luck.....today i am working out

OMG! Today, I am joining up my sister and a close friend to work out. I think my friend is going to kill me. My sis was so sore after working out with her the other day so I can only imagine how I will feel. Yikes!


From what I heard, they did 30 minutes on treadmill (which I love to run), some other stuff (can't remember but it sounds hard), and sections of the Sexy Abs DVD with Kelly and Jeannette (ouch!) Too scared!

Plus, and this is a big plus, I absolutely abhor sweating, and there will be plenty of sweating going on.(insert a  sad face). May the force please be with me.
